2012.04.22 - My first Bonsai book

This was the first book of Bonsai that I had, written by Peter Chan, a Portuguese edition of 1996. From him I learned what is Bonsai, the origin and the misconceptions that arose around. It is a very complete book, which covers not only the horticultural aspects but also the artistic aspects. I recommend for beginners and experienced. Finally the rain has come and the green is just different. The bonsai forests gain another life.

2012.03.11 - Has Spring arrived!?

I took a Bonsai to the office and in three days the flowers just opened completely.. I visited the the oldest public Japanese garden in the United States located inside Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California and didn't resist to buy some oriental decorations.

2011.06.30 - I've bought a camera!

Finally I bought a new camera. I chose the Panasonic TZ20, hope it lasts a long time. You can see the first pictures of my Bonsai captured by it.

2011.06.05 - I've no camera!

My camera broke down :( After a few years taking good pictures, my Samsung Digimax S600 retired. Thus I can not show the current state of my Bonsai trees, but I assure you they are green and healthy! I hope to get my new acquisition this week and next weekend I will shoot continuously to show you everything.

2011.05.22 - Sun protection, now!

At this time of year, are frequent days with showers and thunderstorms intercalated by phases of heavy hot sun. Wet leaves are easily burned by the strong rays of the sun Well, it is an excellent time to look for the half-shadow meshes and extend them over again to give bonsai some protection. I just take them back in late summer.

2011.05.13 - English version!

Long ago that I wished to offer my website also in English. Finally I finished translations. Even it has some bugs, it's a start. The kickoff is given, I'll now work double whenever I write something new, but it's for a good cause. If you find any error, please tell me. Thank you.
